Personal Data Processing Policy under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR)

1. Introduction

This privacy policy describes how International Tax Planning s.r.o. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") collects, uses, stores, and protects the personal data of its clients in accordance with the applicable data protection legislation, including the Czech Act No. 110/2019 Coll. on Personal Data Protection and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union (Regulation EU 2016/679), as well as the applicable accounting and tax laws, including the Czech Tax Code (Act No. 280/2009 Coll.) and the Czech Accounting Act (Act No. 563/1991 Coll.).

The Company collects and processes the following personal data of its clients:

  • Identification Data: name, surname, date of birth, address, phone number, email address, tax identification number, or other identification numbers.

  • Financial Data: bank account information, tax returns, accounting documentation, and other financial information necessary for the provision of services.

  • Consultation Data: information and documentation provided by the client for tax and accounting consulting.

The processing of personal data is based on the following legal grounds:

  • Contractual Performance: the necessity to process data to fulfil the consultancy contract with the client.

  • Legal Obligations: the necessity to process data to comply with legal obligations under Czech tax and accounting laws.

  • Consent: in cases where required, the processing of personal data will be based on the explicit consent of the client.

 

5. Data Processing and Storage

The Company ensures that clients’ personal data is processed lawfully, fairly, and transparently. Data will be stored for the time necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected and in accordance with applicable legal obligations, including the retention periods specified by Czech accounting and tax laws.

 

6. Client Rights

The client has the right to:

  • Access their personal data processed by the Company.

  • Request the correction or update of their personal data.

  • Request the deletion of personal data where legally permitted.

  • Object to the processing of their personal data in certain circumstances.

  • Request the restriction of processing of their personal data.

  • Receive a copy of their personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format (data portability right).

7. Data Security

The Company implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of personal data, preventing unauthorized access, unlawful processing, loss, or destruction of data.

Clients’ personal data will not be transferred to third parties without the explicit consent of the client, except in cases where the transfer is necessary to fulfil legal or contractual obligations.

 

9. Changes to the Privacy Policy

This privacy policy may be subject to changes. In such cases, the Company will inform clients in an appropriate manner.
